Cuter Commuter was founded primarily for women who ride bicycles for transportation. Whether you ride between work and home, to meet friends, to run errands or shuttle family to and from school. My mission is to encourage the utilitarian use of bicycles as a lifestyle by promoting the benefits of bicycling, discussing new technology, enforcement and education initiatives and bicycle legislation, and sharing functional and fashionable bicycling gear and accessories.

I am not an expert in the topics discussed on this blog. I write from my personal experiences and things I have learned along the way (and I am still learning). I just likes to ride my road bike for leisure and touring/commuter bike for utilitarian purposes in hopes of encouraging others, especially women, to take up cycling for fun and for transportation. I enjoy being involved in bicycling advocacy and local organizations such as the Nevada Bicycling Coalition to help make Reno-Tahoe-Sparks a more bicycle friendly town. I also serve as a board member of the Reno Bike Project to create programs and events for our cycling community. More in About Me.
